🧭 Submission instructions
One problem. Infinite constraints. Design a cost-efficient solution to real world problems.
- CAD must be done using Onshape or Solidworks.
- Submit all documents relating to your challenge.
🧾 Judging criteria
The first place team should ideally have:
- A well-thought solution to a real world problem of your choosing
- The solution should be lightweight and cost-efficient enough
- Quality models
- Remove unnecessary extrusions, fillets, or chamfers. Sometimes the best designs don’t look pretty.
- Use construction lines instead of solid lines to improve clarity.
- A pitch and presentation detailing your design process
- Printable using the UltiMaker S5
- Minimum wall thickness ≥ 0.8 mm
- Minimum feature size ≥ 0.4 mm
- Clearance between moving parts ≥ 0.3 mm
- No excessive overhangs without support
- Ranking points:
- 1st: 5 RP
- 2nd: 3 RP
- 3rd: 1 RP
