ReverseCAD challenges you to recreate a real-world object using only reference images — no dimensions, no blueprints. You’ll need to observe carefully, interpret proportions, and digitally sculpt a CAD model that captures the essence of the original. It’s a test of spatial reasoning, approximation, and design intuition.

🧭 Submission instructions

No blueprints. Just photos. Reconstruct an object from sight alone. Most accurate model wins.

1. CAD must be done using Onshape or Solidworks
2. Submit one document with all 60 designs.

🧾 Judging criteria

The first place team should ideally have:

• A pitch and presentation detailing your design process
  • Design aesthetics should match your pitch
• Quality design
  • Use construction lines instead of solid lines to improve clarity
  • Design should accurately match the real object
  • Small details are well-proportioned
  • Constraint logic and dimensions should be reasonable from an engineering perspective
• Ranking points:
  • 1st: 3 RP
  • 2nd: 2 RP
  • 3rd: 1 RP
