Illusion challenges you to create a fully defined 2D sketch (or series of sketches) that forms a clever visual trick. From most angles, it may look abstract — but from one precise viewpoint, your geometry aligns to reveal a hidden object, symbol, or scene. This challenge rewards creative alignment, clean constraint usage, and the art of visual surprise.

🧭 Submission instructions

Design with deception. From the right angle, everything clicks. Most surprising reveal wins.

1. CAD must be done using Onshape or Solidworks
2. Submit one document with all 60 designs.

🧾 Judging criteria

The first place team should ideally have:

• A pitch and presentation detailing your design process
  • Design aesthetics should match your pitch
• Quality design
  • The hidden design is visible from specified angle
  • Dimensions and constraints are realistic and achieve the illusion cleanly
  • Optic reveal is witty, surprising, or visually satisfying
• Ranking points:
  • 1st: 5 RP
  • 2nd: 3 RP
  • 3rd: 1 RP
